PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Manage all digital user accounts for students and staff and assist with the collection and
reporting of District Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Certification
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge / Skills
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
Proficiency in the use of computers and software to develop documents,
spreadsheets and presentations (Microsoft Office and Google products)
Proficient typing, keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Ability to meet established deadlines
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of PEIMS/TSDS rules and requirements
Knowledge of district's student information system (SIS) software
Ability to identify an issue and implement a problem-solving approach
effectively
Ability to extract data and information from various sources and combine
into usable formats
Ability to multi-task
Minimum Experience
Five years of experience in a high school or district-level position responsible for
collecting, entering and sbmitting PEIMS/TSDS data
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Records, Reports
1.Work closely with the District PEIMS & Data Quality Coordinator to
assist with the collection, integration and formatting of all data required
for PEIMS submissions according to the Texas Education Data Standards (TEDS).
2.Work cooperatively with campus, business office and personnel office staff to
collect, organize, and format data required to submit district PEIMS data in a
timely manner.
3.Run reports and verification checks on data to ensure accuracy of information.
4.Distribute edits and reports to appropriate staff for analysis, verification and correction.
5.Create and maintain all user accounts (for both students and staff) for
administrative and instructional digital software applications.
6.Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders,
students, teachers, administrators, and coworkers.
7.Maintain the District's SSO portal to ensure that rostering is functional and s
software interfaces are readily available to students and staff.
8.Produce reports for district and campus administrators as needed/requested.
