Akkodis is seeing a PEGA software engineer to help shape digital strategy by delivering technical solutions. This person will leverage extreme programming and the latest cloud technologies in the development of working, tested code based on proven Agile methods. They will write production-quality code to deploy on Enterprise Foundational Platforms and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to develop software architecture plans.

This is a long-term opportunity, and is hybrid in Southeast Michigan.

Pay range: $60.00-$65.00 per hour.

PEGA SSA certification is mandatory.

NOTE: We are not able to work on C2C basis for this role.

Description

  • Work on a Balanced Team and collaborate with Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Designer to deliver projects.

  • Lead the team to follow best development practices.

  • Carry out development using PEGA Tools to support end-to-end feature delivery.

  • Define, design, develop, and deploy applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support platform growing technical capabilities/expertise and providing guidance and mentorship to other team members.

  • Establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk; ensuring quality, on-time delivery using Agile, test driven development principles.

  • Leverage and apply UI/UX design principles.

  • Be able to analyze and understand as well as create technical designs based on PEGA PRPC 8.x ensuring a high standard of software delivery following SOA and integration architectural practices.

  • Collaborate with offshore and onshore designers and developers to prepare effective designs and deliver required functional and non-functional benefits and follow industry best practice.

  • Help to resolve technical issues and mitigate technical risks across the Domain technical portfolio.

  • PEGA performance analysis and tuning.

Experience Required:

  • Highly technical hands-on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying PEGA technology to help solve business problems.

  • Building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications.

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of medium to large component of a bigger solution.

  • Exposure to a variety of technologies including application servers, programming languages, relational and non-relational data bases and integration techniques.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.

  • Experienced in delivering solutions in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Ability to Design and understand full PEGA architecture along with PEGA UI.

  • Individual should be highly technical hands-on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying PEGA technology to help solve business problems.

  • PEGA SSA certification is mandatory.

Education Required:

  • Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
