Job Description

The Pega Developer is a key member of our Delivery organization in the US. In addition to being responsible for developing high performing solutions on the Pega platform, the Pega Developer will be knowledgeable on reporting and integrations and provide insight in business analysis, conduct needs assessments and configure apps, as required.

Our clients are world leading organizations that are/have selected Pegasystems to advance their business and the Pega Developer is an essential team member inside the organization.

Must be willing and able to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Typical Day Snapshot Pega Developer

New challenges and opportunities arise every day for our Pega consultants and their roles will vary based on the projects where they are engaged. The work is truly exciting and interesting and will require our Pega Developers to:

  • Work with members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements, in to customized solutions using the Pega 7 platform.

  • Implement Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practices.

  • Will be responsible for Coding and unit testing using Pega OOTB features based on the design provided by the Lead System Architect.

  • Maintain effective team relations and rapport delivering timely and relevant information.

This position is responsible for the growth of HVAC products within the Northeast Region. Work with the Director of HVAC and Channel Partners to achieve maximum market penetration and sales of the company's products. Comprehensive understanding of all pump markets within the region. Annual Sales Revenue of $25M to $30M. Provide Information & Assistance to the Product Development / Marketing departments on New Product Releases. Essential Functions: * Develop a Master Business Plan with each Rep. The plan must include Representative Goals, Targeted Accounts, Travel Time Required, Perspective OEM's, Growth of Major Trade Area's, Etc.. * Deliver orders and sales targets versus budgets. Work with Rep/distributor to increase Sales & Market Share of products in territory and region. Open new Representation where and when necessary. * Travel with Representative and Distributor Personnel to Train and help grow Xylem Product Sales. * Maintain Large Project funnel with coordination and updates from channels. * Assist Marketing in defining new Markets and Product Opportunities. * Keep Management advised of competitors' activities in Territory / Region. * Make prospecting calls on OEM's and Potential Distribution in each territory. * Attend appropriate trade shows and related events to expand market knowledge of products and trends within the industry. * Effectively motivate non-reports to implement Strategies. * Ability to Coach, Strong Work Ethics, Risk-Taker, Accountable, Manage by Prevention, Distributor Conflicts, Timely submittal of required reports, Organization, Able to make Decisions, Ability to Work Independently Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor Degree or Preferred B.S. degree Mech.
