Pediatric Social Worker

• Ambulatory Care Network

• Weill Cornell

• Days

We are seeking a Social Worker for our Outpatient Pediatric clinic that includes the following programs:

• Teen Mothers

• Adolescent Health

• Health for Life (focus on eating disorders)

• COMPASS (gender-affirming care)

The Pediatric/Adolescent Social Worker will utilize clinical skills to forge meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Position involves a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to biopsychosocial assessments, short-term counseling, risk assessment and treatment planning, crisis interventions, outreach/referrals to community providers, and other case management services.

The social worker must work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team.

Position may involve work across the entire Pediatric/Adolescent and Women's Health Practice depending on need.

Social worker will be responsible for seeing patients virtually and in-person.

This is a dayshift, Monday to Friday position.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience working with pregnant teens

• Experience working with LGBTQ+ clients

• Experience working with Pediatric clients

• Experience in a busy outpatient setting

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams

Required Criteria

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

$82,500-$105,000/Annual
