Pediatric Nurse

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a part time Pediatric Nurse to join our team You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. Responsibilities: Performs telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; may assist by calling to set up appointments Administers immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; records and documents all such activities in the chart Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate patient medical records Clean and sterilize equipment; check and restock medication cabinet as necessary Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, etc Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Flexible schedule including one Saturday per month Previous experience in nursing Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
