The Pediatric Medical Assistant demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served by their department. Additionally, the MA demonstrates competency in applying these principles when providing individualized care to specific patients. Assists the MD/NP/PA in performing procedures. Operates, maintains and calibrates all equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred

• Some knowledge of computers and referral process preferred

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
