Overview:

Aveanna Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work within a facility setting. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The RN is responsible to the Clinical Manager for the assigned Department.

Pay:

Starts at $40/hr

Job Duties:

Adheres to the policies and procedures of the facility/unit

Possesses the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate care for patients assigned by the facility/unit

Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers

Conducts ongoing assessments as determined by patient's condition and/or the client facility's policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly.

Performs appropriate treatments as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner.

Documents patient assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing intervention and progress towards problem resolution.

Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff.

Reports patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift.

Supervision of RN is managed by facility personnel.

Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Current CPR certification. Evidence of BLS and all additional required credentials specific to nurse specialty and as designated by facility/unit

Current active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of placement

At least one (1) year of experience as an RN in the United States (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting

Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance

Environment:

Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions

Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases

This role is responsible for preserving an effective PV system in compliance with USA legal/regulatory requirements, training/mentoring junior level PV Associates in their daily functions, and supporting Glenmark Global Pharmacovigilance (GPV) in any type of initiative requiring support.</p><p>OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Note: These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties.</p><ul><li><p>Manage functional tasks associated with PV as a Local Pharmacovigilance Responsible Person LPVRP or back-up LPVRP in accordance with Glenmark Standard Operating Procedures.</p></li><li><p>Support the creation, maintenance and/or implementation of Glenmark global/regional/local Pharmacovigilance SOPs and Work Instructions</p></li><li><p>Responsible for receipt, timely forwarding, follow-up of individual case safety reports ICSRs as well as monthly reconciliation activities</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain local PV Site File/trackers that facilitate work</p></li><li><p>Provide relevant information as needed for compilation of the Pharmacovigilance Master File PSMF, Aggregate Reports and Risk Management Plans and to submit such reports to the local agency as needed</p></li><li><p>Ensure an appropriate cover for out of hours Pharmacovigilance is provided and maintained</p></li><li><p>Ensure information relating to product recalls due to safety reasons is communicated to Glenmarks QPPV and deputy promptly</p></li><li><p>Work closely with GPV leadership in the preparation, execution, and all CAPA management activities following an audit/inspection</p></li><li><p>Ensure CAPAs are put in place for any non-compliance occurring at the local level and deviations are documented</p></li><li><p>Support PV and Compliance team in matters related to compliance where required</p></li><li><p>Accountable for coaching and developing junior level PV Associates by providing an environment that encourages ongoing professional development</p></li><li><p>Provides routine oversight of junior level PV Associates in the execution of their daily functions</p></li><li><p>Provide PV Awareness Training to all USA site colleagues and maintain training records</p></li><li><p>Ensure that appropriate filing and archiving of Pharmacovigilance related documents is performed.</p></li><li><p>Maintain good relations with partners and ensure timely development and approval of SDEAs and escalation of non-compliance.</p></li><li><p>Ensure vendor compliance for reconciliation with LPVRP and License partners. Support vendor in partner initiated reconciliation activities as required. In case of consistent deviation by vendor ensure escalate to EEA QPPV. Ensure evidence related to reconciliation with LPVRP and License partners is stored and archived in an orderly way ensuring timely retrieval</p></li><li><p>Act as Liaison and work closely with Glenmark Regional Heads and EEA QPPV in providing PV leadership/guidance and supporting local affiliates. Support Regional Heads in the on boarding and training of LPVRPs. Ensure availability of current organization charts, job descriptions, Curriculum Vitae and training records for PV colleagues in the affiliate offices.</p></li><li><p>Provide ad hoc advice and support to LPVRPs on operational PV issues and liaise with Regional Head for resolution.</p></li><li><p>Work with the clinical project teams to ensure consistency in the assessment, recording, and coding of clinical safety events e.g. SAEs</p></li><li><p>Prepare and review queries to obtain critical or missing serious adverse events SAEs information for appropriate medical assessment and case closure</p></li><li><p>Serve as Adjudication Coordinator and ensure that end point dossiers are prepared and completed in timely manner for submission to Adjudication Committee if needed</p></li><li><p>Participate in SAE reconciliation data between clinical and safety databases</p></li><li><p>Assist with data lock reconciliations and ensure all cases are complete and all outstanding queries are resolved and closed</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates knowledge of safety concepts, per ICH and FDA guidelines per device safety reporting requirements</p></li><li><p>Applies Good Clinical Practices in documentation of phone, electronic, and/or fax correspondence regarding initial case reports and follow-up per CRFs SOPs</p></li></ul><p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p><p>Education</p><ul><li>Life science graduate, pharmacist, qualified nurse, other health care professional</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li><p>3-5 years related experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company or CRO environment</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 3 years experience in Pharmacovigilance and quality assurance - tactical, operational and strategic capacities is preferred</p></li></ul><p>Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)</p><ul><li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proof reading and organization skills</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive and working knowledge of MicroSoft</p></li><li><p>Outlook, Microsoft WORD, Excel and PowerPoint.
