Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (7:30 am - 4:30 pm)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric cardiac sonography and be able to perform diagnostic examinations using ultrasound equipment. The Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other related procedures on pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

- Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic procedures on pediatric patients

- Accurately document and interpret test results

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive diagnosis

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment

- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric cardiac sonography

Requirements

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Cardiac Sonography program

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric cardiac sonography

- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must adhere to patient privacy laws and regulations
