Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service

  • Physical requirements: May be required to stand for extended periods of time and may be required to lift bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Basic clerical and processing skills

  • Effective interpersonal/customer service skills

  • Strong reading, writing and mathematical skills

Thank you. Summary: Work with a team to provide and support participant assessment, training, coaching, and job readiness services. Supervise, direct and support the work of participants and supervise job coaches, as assigned. The Job Coach Lead possesses a greater level of knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences within the organization. Must have valid driver license with personal auto insurance as well as pass background and driver record check. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: * Supervise assigned job coaches. Arrange and provide shift coverage and general supervision to meet participant service needs. * Work with job coaches to ensure they have training and support to complete workload. * Assist with the development and implementation of programs and services. * Assist with screening of referrals for appropriate program and service options. * Establish and maintain good working relationships with participants, referral agencies, internal operations and all team members. * Follow up on participant progress, providing encouragement as needed. * Ensure all paperwork and related activities are current, accurate, and in compliance. Includes case notes, service reports, and time studies (if applicable). * Enter required data into Case Management database in a timely and accurate manner. * Provide hands on training, direct supervision, and support to participants at a variety of work locations. * Gather accurate data needed to fulfill reporting requirements, to include work behaviors and productivity. * Make recommendations to supervisory staff on necessary changes in policy or management style. * Conduct orientation of new referrals. * Seek new sources of revenue, upon request. * Assist participants in achieving the highest level of independent functioning while receiving services. * Work with a multiple participant caseload. * Thoroughly review intake, service plan, and supporting documentation for each participant. Assist with developing of said items, as requested. * Evaluate participants' work assets for appropriate job training needs. * Perform job and task analysis. * Act as a job coach and trainer for program participants, as needed. * Monitor and record participant progress to ensure goals and objectives are met. * Explain and demonstrate tasks according to employer expectations. Work with participants on a variety of tasks to ensure individual understands job duties, and tasks are achievable. * Demonstrate the ability to perform all work tasks supervised. Work a variety of shifts and locations, including weekends and evenings, depending upon assignment. * Provide services in accordance with Goodwill policies, CARF standards, and principles of safety. * Work with staff to develop, monitor, and resolve skills training, vocational, or behavioral issues. * Assist with providing and recommending job accommodations, to include assistive technology needs. * Model and train appropriate work behaviors and interpersonal skills. * Provide training using multiple methods, to reach all learning styles. * Facilitate appropriate participant and co-worker relationships. * Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries assuring safety of personnel or property. * Work collaboratively with Operations and Workforce and Family Services to provide client services. * Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Maintain agency confidentiality.
