Job Summary

Darnall Charter School seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher for 7th and 8th grade students. PE teachers for middle school (grades 7-8) are required to have a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physical Education.

This credential ensures that the teacher has met the necessary educational and professional standards to teach physical education to students in middle school. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices. Responsibilities include planning and conducting engaging PE classes, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The PE Teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, contributing to the overall well-being and development of our students, and Coach middle school sports throughout the year.
