Requirements for Applying

Appropriate California Credential We will also consider intern-ready applicants from the following preparatory programs: Brandman University, Cal State Teach, Chico State University, Fortune School, National University & Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE). Intern, Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP) and Provisional Internship Permit (PIP) candidates are paid from the Emergency Credential Column of the Certificated Salary Schedule.

INITIAL PLACEMENT: Experience credit at the time of initial hire is granted on the basis of one (1) step for each year of properly verified certificated teaching experience with a limitation of twelve (12) years of such credit.
