Job Description PDM Consultant

Inflow TechnologyP

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, training and support of enterprise-wide Product Data Management (PDM) systems and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, primarily SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional. In addition, responsibilities include conducting software presentations with the sales team in a pre-sales environment.



  • Provide support to customers in the use of our products.
  • Customer communication via our blog on common issues in the use of our products.

Implementation and Training

  • Manage multi-stage projects from start to completion. Responsible for the overall design, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects.
  • Work with multiple customer parties including Engineering, Marketing, Quality, IT, Manufacturing and Management to understand requirements.
  • Configure systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct training for systems administrators and end users.
  • Troubleshoot complex configuration and system issues.

Pre-Sales Support

  • Deliver demonstrations, presentations, and training comfortably to anyone in a company hierarchy from an engineer to the CEO or business owner.
  • Develop and present product demonstrations to satisfy specific customer requests.

Receive Manufacturing Specialist on-the-job training to perform hands-on production tasks, including but limited to: electromechanical assembly, Die bonding, scribing, inspection, wire bonding, fiber lensing and packaging. We are actively searching for motivated Day Shift Manufacturing Specialists to join our team located in Hillsboro, Oregon. Starting at $14.25/hr. DOE with progression path to $15.50/hr at 12 months Qualifications / Requirements: * High School Diploma or Equivalent required. * Experience in electronic assembly is preferred but not required * Soldering and/or wire bonding experience is a plus. * Ability to work in a team oriented production environment. * Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality. This includes following all rules and regulations, including safety, attendance, breaks etc. established by management. * Ability to perform under pressure. * Ability to communicate and follow English written and verbal instructions. * Basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills in order to process inventory, counting, time allocation, and work hours. * Have good attention to details and manual dexterity. * Must be comfortable with the use of computer for data entry. * Willing and able to work overtime as necessary. * Willing to make improvement suggestions. * Overtime up-to 10% a week, as needed to meet team and company goals. Work Environment: * Must be able to function well in an cleanroom environment. * Must be able to perform in cleanroom wearing cleanroom garments. * Must be able to work in a controlled chemical environment.
