Position Details:
Under the supervision of the RN/LPN, this role provides routine patient care in accordance with Tennova Healthcare
About the Job:
Responsible to the patient to provide the highest quality nursing care possible.
Assist LPNs and staff RNs in delivering patient care.
Responsible for promoting cooperative working relationships both on the assigned unit and with other hospital departments.
Participate in performance improvement activities.
Provides clerical support to the assigned department.
Maintains and updates patient records per policy.
Requirements:
Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. (required) Diploma or transcripts required upon hire.
Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in an accredited nursing program (preferred).
BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) is required within six months of hire.
One year experience as a nursing assistant (preferred)
One-year patient care experience (preferred)
