Pct, Patient Care Technician - Postpartum - Part Time

Description Summary: Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities: • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. • Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. • Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake. • Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors. • Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds. Requirements: Education/Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Experience in a hospital setting preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Work Schedule:
