In this role, you will be implementing new user experiences in mixed reality that will shape the future of computing. Your primary responsibility will be to architect and implement applications and drive the engineering effort to produce deliverables. You will participate in iteration planning and work with cross-team dependencies. Qualified candidates need to be a self-starter and able to operate in a highly dynamic environment.
Lead a team of developers and full application development lifecycle
Provide mentoring to their assigned development team
Act as a mentor and subject matter expert within the company and developer community
Write elegant, maintainable, reusable code, leveraging test-driven principles to develop high-quality applications
Support overall engineering and architecture effort of the software group
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues
Work closely with UX designers to implement their specifications
5+ Years of experience successfully leading a mid-large sized team
Experience working with third-party libraries, frameworks, and API's
Very strong programming skills- extensive experience with C, C++
Strong Mobile Software Architecture knowledge
Strong experience working with UX Design
Strong unit, functional and automated testing experience
Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
Strong communication skills
Experience implementing media applications (i.e. Music/Media Players) on Mobile Operating Systems and/or Android
Experience integrating popular 3rd party media services
Knowledge of codecs and streaming protocols
Experience with native Android development using C++ and NDK a plus
Strong preference of having shipped applications on an embedded product or having published applications on an app store
