The Georgia State University Police Department is seeking a PC Systems Specialist, Lead who will be responsible for providing software and workstation support in multi-platforms and operating systems.

The department is accredited and certified by the following organizations: Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement (IACLEA) and the State of Georgia Law Enforcement Certification Program.
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for providing software and workstation support in Windows and MAC. Diagnose and resolve highly complex technical problems with computer hardware, software, and network printers. The PC Systems Specialist, Lead will provide expert technical advise and oversee delivery of workstation support services for the police department across all six campuses.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the PC Systems Specialist, Intermediate include:
Hardware and software installation, upgrades, and support, including troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems; applies patches, upgrades, and maintenance to system security.
Maintain inventory and reporting of all end-user computing assets.
Installs PC's and/or MACs imaging, utilizing imaging software.
Partner with the university cyber security team to implement security policies and ensure all critical vulnerabilities are patched in a timely manner, and all computers and networks devices are compliant.
Provide door access to faculty, staff and students using Blackboard Transaction System.
