Summary

Provides technical support within First Financial Corporation. This support includes - installation and testing of new PC hardware and software, on-going maintenance of information systems, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, responding to questions concerning access to network resources.

• Working toward an Associate's Degree in Information Technology field and/or MCSE Certification.

• Previous technical experience preferred.

• Experience in a PC-based LAN/WAN environment and technical support in one or more computing environments (e.g. Microsoft Windows 7, 8.x, 10).

• Experience working with PCs, networking, and distributed computing concepts, including principles of TCP/IP, and client/server applications.

• Ability to relate complex material in a user-friendly manner.

• Strong inter-personal, written, and oral communication skills with a focus on meeting user expectations.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment is a must, along with a demonstrated ability to grasp new concepts and systems.

Primary Activities

• Fields user inquiries relating to hardware, software, and network problems.

• Troubleshoots and provides resolution to hardware, software, and network problems.

• Responsible for the installation and testing of new PC hardware and software.

• Diagnoses and assists in the resolution of needed PC repairs and issues.

• Responsible for installing packaged software systems and applications.

• Maintenance of current releases of software on PC's.

• Assists with the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, peripherals, and wiring.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Bank Secrecy Act

• Maintain sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing/PATRIOT Act and OFAC regulations.

• To be able to fulfill applicable requirements and responsibilities under the bank's related policies and programs.
