nThe Technical Support Specialist position requires a person with exceptional customer service skills, strong technical abilities, and the ability to prioritize and multitask during high-pressure situations.
The role is to act as a point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. This position partners with other Information Technology teams staff to troubleshoot issues outside of Desktop Supports immediate responsibility or skill set.nKey Responsibilities:
n Dedicated to providing high end customer servicen Should be very technical, but be able to bridge the gap and explain Technology to Non-Technical usersn Takes personal ownership over problemsn Performs desktop and laptop system deployments including hardware and software configurationn The ability to support Windows 7/Windows 10/Mac OS X/ iOS and the operating systems native tools and applicationsn Coordinate and perform workstation movesn Utilizes incident management system to receive, track and close support requestsn Maintain and repair computer hardware and peripheralsn Support with the Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Outlook support within an Office 365 environmentn Configure and deploy Cisco IP phonesn Imaging desktops or laptops with SCCM 2012n Using Active Directory to reset user passwords and moving computer objects to their respective OUsn Using SCCM to remote control and support 120 remote locationsn
