Do you have your P&C license and have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance policy documents? The Insurance Processing Associate for the Construction group will be responsible for reviewing contractor/subcontractor insurance policies and documents to ensure compliance.
Duties may include:
Review various policy documents to ensure they are current and compliant.
Contact contractors and subcontractors to inform them of missing information required to maintain their policies.
Responding to inquiries regarding construction policies in a timely manner.
Enter Workers Compensation code rates and payroll information.
Navigate contractor online portal to provide self-service steps.
Explain enrollment information such as EMR, Anniversary Rating Dates, Class Code, etc. to construction project team members.
Maintaining specialized and comprehensive records and filing.
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Strong typing and basic computer skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Previous customer service experience.
Licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance.
Previous insurance experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Builds collaborative and mutually meaningful relationships with other team members.
Actively suggests and shares opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
Exudes a positive attitude while working within a team environment.
Effective time management skills.
