THE OPPORTUNITY:

The opening is for an account manager / CSR at our Warrington office and is responsible for the day-to-day management of property & casualty clients. You will report directly to the manager of our small to mid-sized market division responsible for the day-to-day management of property & casualty clients.

You will also serve as the clients primary point of contact for all issues and services related to each account.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Account Managers are responsible for:

  • Preparing Submissions
  • Negotiating Price and Coverage Details with Underwriters
  • Preparing & Presenting Proposals
  • Invoicing
  • Premium Financing
  • Review Policies and Endorsements to make sure the insurance program delivers the broad coverage that was negotiated
  • Process Requested Changes in Coverage
  • Ensure KMRD's service plan is delivered timely and effectively, improving our client's business operations and reducing their overall cost of risk
  • Address any questions you have on a day to day basis
  • Issue certificates of insurance
  • Issue Auto ID cards
  • Assist with contract reviews
  • Perform experience mod projections/reviews so you are better informed about current and future workers compensation premiums
  • Provide Bid & Accrual support
  • Review Audits
  • Assist in the Coordination of loss control and claims support

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years minimum of property & casualty account management experience in the middle market segment. We provide great training!
  • A BA/BS in business administration, risk management, human resources management, or related field. (Industry certifications are a plus)
  • Current licensing in appropriate lines of authority.
  • Ability to travel based on client and business needs.
  • Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (and other related technologies/programs).

OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Focus and ability to accomplish complex tasks
  • Delegation and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of coverage or an orientation / intellectual curiosity for coverage concepts
  • Working Knowledge or Ability to Learn EPIC or similar systems
  • Experience with CSR 24 or similar systems
  • Relationship Oriented Ability to win over the respect and admiration of his/her clients, colleagues and underwriters.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate in a paperless environment
