This individual is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor. The PBX Telephone Operator must work well handling a high volume of calls. The PBX Telephone Operator should be comfortable and able to answer questions relating to the hotel.

Supports management in providing legal advice and recommendations for action to executives and their reports. Researches legal principles and precedents and applies knowledge to effectively address stakeholder requests. Gathers relevant case law and regulations and drafts and executes legal documents. Analyzes proposed and established federal and state legislation and regulations, prepares legal documents, regulatory filings and reviews company policies. Experience negotiating and arbitrating voice interconnection agreements, and in effectively resolving intercarrier disputes. Advises management on legal/regulatory matters and facilitates compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Works collaboratively with, and provides appropriate work guidance to, paraprofessional and support staff in developing solutions to problems presented. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Ability to work interdependently with other attorneys and regulatory subject-matter experts in support of our residential and business competitive voice services. Effective team member and demonstrated abililty to provide helpful guidance/mentoring to other members of team, as needed Interprets state and federal telecom laws, rulings, and regulations for corporation Prepares and presents compliance and legal briefings to management Represents corporation in legal and regulatory proceedings, including state utility commissions Participates in development of plans and provides assistance to internal clients in response to newly passed legislation and regulations; also assists with evaluation and development of proposed legislation and regulations Researches and drafts administrative and legislative proposals, regulations and reports Deep knowledge of voice interconnection laws/rules and demonstrated experience negotiating and arbitrating voice interconnection agreements, and other intercarrier disputes, before state utility commissions Evaluates existing policies, procedures and assists with developing applicable training for the company Fields and answers questions from business units concerning legal topics related to our competitive voice service Negotiates and drafts business agreements Coordinates and manages outside counsel Stays informed of industry-specific legislation/regulations and works with stakeholders to ensure that appropriate risk management strategies are implemented Synthesizes information and makes appropriate recommendations to management, as needed Performs other related duties as required REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school Admission to State Bar in which Attorney practices Related Work Experience 12+ years experience in legal regulatory practice 12+ years experience advising a competitive LEC Litigation (or litigation management) experience before state utility commissions and/or the FCC a plus WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment Required travel up to 20% The Spectrum brand is powered and innovated by Charter Communications.
