The PBX Operator answers incoming calls and assists when necessary in placing calls. Pages physicians and hospital personnel on the public address system and pagers.
Initiates emergency procedures and monitors multiple alarms and the HEAR radio system. Maintains accurate records.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year previous PBX Operator and/or receptionist experience in a medical setting preferred.
