Pleasantly answers all incoming calls and directs caller to the appropriate department or extension based on information obtained from the caller. Greets visitors and directs them appropriately.
Recognizes all emergency codes, announces and/or beeps the codes appropriately and notifies Richmond Fire Department in the event of a "Dr. Red". During physician non-office hours, acts as "calling service" for physician by maintaining call sheet and calling, paging (beeping), or referring as specified by each physician. Limits overhead paging by asking requestor to use beeper system and performs overhead paging system as directed by Security or House Supervisor. Complies with the policies, procedures, and activities established by the Code of Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Program.
High School, Vocational or specialized training and experience.
