Pbcs/Fccs Systems Administrator

About the role:

The PBCS/FCCS Administrator/Developer will support the PBCS & FCCS system at Morningstar. This includes support in the use, design, development, configuration, and testing of PBCS and FCCS modules. The administrator will provide support in functional tasks of medium-to-high technological complexity. He/she will provide support in maximizing the value of PBCS & FCCS by identifying and recommending functional and technological solutions to improve business processes, enhance Planning and Budgeting and Consolidations functionalities, and meet internal and external reporting requirements while providing production and end user support.

This role will be based in our Chicago office.

Job responsibilities:

• Setup of new security/update existing security groups

• Maintenance & creation of dimension hierarchies (alternate hierarchies)

• Monthly data loading including currency rates

• Supporting the Monthly Actual, Budget and Forecast processes

• Running and maintaining of business rules and calculation scripts

• Running consolidations and translations

• Locking down scenarios

• Performing data reconciliations

• Develop and maintain all relevant documentation, specifically the process maintenance

• Ensure that appropriate process and system controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of master data, including performing & reporting on periodic audits

• Ensure that all relevant parties are timeously informed of master data changes

• Contribute to achievement of master data performance and quality standards as defined by service level agreements

• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement that increase efficiency and effectiveness of MDM processes

• Seek to drive highest standards of customer service to Finance teams globally

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years PBCS / Hyperion Planning / FCCS

• Oracle Data Management or FDMEE experience

• Competency in Microsoft Office and Smart View

• Good understanding of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, & Cash Flow Statements

• Strong communicator and relationship builder

• Strong customer service focus

• Good understanding of how data flows and systems work

• Self-motivated, confident, and energetic

• Flexible and adaptable
