Our Community Education Department is seeking a Project Support Specialist(s) (project-based). Candidates will support the preparation and implementation of programs. Hours may vary based on program requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to support our summer camp season. Duties include but are not limited to providing support services to program staff, assisting with internal and external communication, recruitment, assisting with registration processes and scheduling, assisting with classroom set up and instructional needs, collecting and verifying required forms/information, assisting instructors with supply needs, assistance with camp assistants, and providing in class student support as needed.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Typical hours employees should be available during general hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Support staff will be scheduled as needed.

• Lead support staff will begin 1-2 days/week in April, then 5 days/week mid-May.

• Additional support staff will begin 5 days/week mid/end of May.

• Employment will continue through the middle of August.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required.

• Basic computer skills required.

• Experience working with children required.

• Must be detail-oriented and organized.

• Professional communication skills (email, in person, phone, written) required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

• Office experience preferred.

• Customer service experience preferred.
