Payroll/Wage Garnishment Specialist

The Wage Garnishments Specialist is responsible for specific payroll related wage garnishment applications and reporting. This position's overall responsibility is to oversee the payroll garnishment operation and related activities.

Skill and Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 6 years of clerical experience with increasing levels of responsibility

• At least 3 years of garnishment experience

• Basic Excel and MS Word

• Knowledge of various type of garnishments

• Knowledge of local , state and federal laws, rules and regulations relating to garnishments.

• Knowledge of payroll processing

• Strong Math Skills

• Ability to interact effectively with district employee representing a variety of cultural, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds

• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions

• Ability to work with minimum supervisors
