Payroll/Purchasing Specialist

Duties: Coordinate with other departments to receive, review, and process timesheets; process payroll interfaces and assist with payroll taxes; work with accounting staff to reconcile posting to general ledger; address payroll questions in a professional and courteous manner; process monthly corporate cards, purchase orders, and petty cash; proficiently assist with travel, accounts payable, other purchasing areas as needed and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and/or 2 years of payroll experience in a business environment preferred; demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; strong in-person, written and electronic communication skills; ability to manage sensitive and confidential information; ability to organize, coordinate, multi-task and prioritize assigned job duties; commitment to collaboration and ability to work in a team environment; intuitive experience in developing methods to accomplish essential job duties; experience working within a management information system and accounting knowledge of the general ledger preferred.
