Job Summary

This is a temporary position offering 40 hrs/wk. Assignment runs from date of hire through 12/31/18 with possible extension.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for development, delivery and change management related to cross-functional technology business management processes and applications across the Information Technology organization. In partnership with other areas of the IT Business Management organization and the broader IT organization, this individual will drive metrics adoption and process improvement across the Marriott IT environment.


Education and Experience

7+ years relevant experience in business and IT operations.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications.

Experience in developing metrics programs in a business or IT organization.

Experience in developing executive level presentations and scorecards.

Experience in financial analysis and budget management.


Experience with development or continuous improvement of business processes.

Experience with business requirements analysis and user support, ideally for metrics reporting systems.

Knowledge of Technology Business Management practices.

Knowledge of business strategy development

Graduate degree.

PMP certification.

Knowledge of ITIL and CObIT processes.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent analytical skills.

Excellent listening skills and interpersonal skills.


Change Management

Develops and contributes to the rollout of training, job aides and other change management materials for IT enabling tools to promote the effective utilization of IT Metrics

Contributes to the development of processes and procedures to validate that quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity measurements are tracked and reviewed on a regular basis and in a comprehensive manner.

Contributes to program and processes to monitor fulfillment of deliverables/commitments.

Follows appropriate escalation processes to resolve issues.
