Location: Fort Myers, FL - On-site (3660 Broadway)

Job Summary:

Performs those duties directly involving the accounts payable function of a radiology practice. Maintains financial integrity of the organization through appropriate internal controls. Performs other related duties with the job classification or organizations as necessary or as assigned. The position is also responsible for ensuring accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll.

• Process invoices for several different entities within the organization.

• Compare invoice quantities and prices to purchase order and packing slip. Ability to identify and resolve any discrepancies.

• Generate payment of invoices, obtain signatures on checks (may involve driving to locations) and work with vendors to be paid via ACH.

• Obtain required documentation for vendor files to facilitate preparation of annual 1099's prior to paying vendors. Prepare and issue 1099's on a timely basis.

• Purchase medical, office and maintenance supplies for imaging centers and administrative offices. Includes contacting the vendor to place the order and typing the purchase order.

• Payroll processing includes calculating hours, deductions, new hires, and termination, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate and timely payroll records and reports.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including tax and labor laws.

• Keep up to date with changes in payroll regulations and adjust payroll systems and processes accordingly.

• Handle purchasing duties, which include, answering the phone, retrieve and respond to emails, order supplies, receive shipments from vendors, stock inventory onto shelves, issue supplies to offsite locations, assist service engineers in locating, ordering, and shipping parts.

• Act as a company liaison and provide internal and external customer service.

• Open, sort and distribute daily departmental mail.

• Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines with a proactive approach.

• A high degree of positive energy and ability to rapidly develop positive relationships with others is critical for this position.

• Assess and respond to current and future internal and external healthcare trends to establish and ensure the necessary direction for financial operations.

• Continually seek ways and means for improving the delivery and support of financial activities and programs.

• Assure satisfaction among administration and providers with the quality and amount of support provided by monitoring and responding appropriately to outcomes and feedback.

Requirements

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Required: High School Diploma or GED

• Experience: 3 plus years of experience in payroll or accounts payable, preferably in the medical industry.

• Proficient in Excel spreadsheets and NetSuite

• Experience in Paylocity a plus.
