We are presently seeking an experienced Payroll (including prevailing wages), candidate that can also attend to some general accounting and Human Resources admin tasks for a growing Construction Company. The qualified candidate will strategically partner with the leadership team to deliver exceptional and consistent customer service to our staff in all payroll, accounting tasks and HR matters with a focus on recognizing and encouraging diversity and inclusion in the workplace. CERTIFIED Payroll experience a top asset.
Develop and manage all aspects of Payroll including Certified payroll (prevailing wages), payroll projections, yearly audits and other. Accounting could be AP or AR and other based on need of the department. Human Resources, including, but not limited to, employee benefits, basic HR administration tasks, workers compensation and other pending current and learned skills relations.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience deemed comparable and a minimum of 2-5 years of progressive payroll, accounting and HR experience with an emphasis on experience in Construction. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
Candidates will be self-starters and have strong management and leadership skills and are capable of managing projects and tasks successfully to completion; must be highly accountable and responsible. Construction experience is preferred. Spanish speaking is a required . SAGE 300 also preferred.
