As a Payroll Specialist, you will join the Finance team and have responsibility for supporting the processing of a multi-state, weekly payroll for non-exempt employees. This position requires strong attention to detail and organization. It also requires excellent customer service skills fielding inquiries from our over 30,000+ employees in 18 states. This is a hybrid positionbased in Quincy, MA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team using ADP EV6

  • Ensures timely responses to payroll related questions using Zendesk and other IntelyCare systems

  • Partners with Payroll Manager and colleagues to process weekly payrolls under strict deadlines

  • Collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders within Finance as well as other departments

  • Create weekly payroll reports and process general ledger files

  • Supports key payroll functions related to garnishments, communications, and inquiries along with basic changes to taxes and other benefits for all IntelyCare employees

  • Facilitates clear communication in both verbal and written situations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll related experience

  • ADP EV6 or ADP Enterprise experience preferred

  • High level of discretion to maintain confidentiality

  • Well organized and very detail oriented

  • Accurate data entry and auditing skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor

  • Computer aptitude with high proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • constantly reach to use computers, monitors, and other office equipment

  • constantly need to view objects at close and distant ranges

  • constantly communicate with others verbally and in writing

  • frequently required to sit or stand

  • This position functions in an office and technical environment and requires fine manipulation and simple grasping to utilize the computer and other standard office equipment.

  • Required occasional lifting and transporting of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
