Position Description:

Mosaic Management is a Multi-unit Franchise Management company located in Dunwoody, GA looking for an experienced payroll specialist.

  • PAYLOCITY HRIS Payroll system knowledge required for position*

This position is: Full time, Exempt

Salary range: 45,000 - 50,000/year based on level of experience

Position Summary:

We are a multi-unit restaurant franchisee looking for a Full-Time Payroll Specialist with excellent organizational and analytical skills who can also take on some accounting duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for the following duties (including, but not limited to):

Help HR Director Manage Paylocity system;

  • Onboarding: Assist in Troubleshooting, aid in bi-weekly audit, update and streamline EE records and processes

  • Payroll run for 4 companies, 2 companies per week; pull data, covert, import, troubleshoot, finalize

  • Communicate with Directors, Supervisors, GMs, Employees regarding payroll as needed

  • Pay card system-bi-weekly audit reports and corrections as needed

  • Stamp and communicate W2 forms

  • Benefit deductions pay audits and reconciliation with AP

  • Reset terminated EE access in Paylocity

  • Bi-weekly Audit PTO usage, audit records, and activate time off banks

HR Reporting & Administrative;

  • Complete, Fax, Mail and File employment verifications, termination records, employer responses and manage child support as needed

  • Bi-weekly Workers comp wage statements completed and submitted

  • State DOL reporting and filing as needed

  • Quarterly multi-state worksite reports

  • Help Compile Annual Work Comp. audit reports

  • Complete Annual Census reports

  • Ad-hoc reporting

  • Build and improve Check lists and Guides

Accounting Reporting & Administrative

  • Create Daily Bank data reports for Accounting Team

  • Download and file daily and weekly sales activity from

  • Review/record bills into AP program, AvidXchange

Qualifications and Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or HR preferred, with the following experience required:

  • 3+ year(s) of Payroll Processing Experience

  • 2+ year(s) of General Accounting or AP Experience

  • 1+ year(s) Paylocity Payroll HRIS Experience

  • Expert knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, FLSA, FCCA, CARE ACT, E-Verify, and State pay laws, understand withholding restrictions, laws and calculations

  • Utilize: Paylocity, Monkey Media, NCR, payroll email, RTI, state unemployment sites

  • Familiar with basic excel functions and formatting

  • Payroll Specialist certification preferred
