Job Description Summary

Primarily responsible for auditing data integrity between Workday HRIS and Payroll, resolving discrepancies, initiating and managing daily HR/Payroll integrations, and general ledger reconciliation serve as backup support to the payroll team and maintaining customer satisfaction by providing a timely response and resolution to payroll service requests.

Job Description


  • Initiating and managing daily HR/Payroll integrations.

  • Auditing data integrity between Workday HRIS and Payroll.

  • Troubleshooting payroll and system issues.

  • Position will serve as key team member on system upgrade and testing.

  • Partner with the Payroll team and leadership on implementation of new technology.

  • Serve as backup support to the payroll team.

  • Perform data analytics and lead special projects to drive payroll improvements and integrations.

  • Serve as point of contact for HR/Payroll system issues.

  • Upload various HR files into payroll system and audit for accuracy

  • Highly skilled in Excel and other reporting tools


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3-5 years of professional payroll experience

  • Or any similar combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of Workday, Ceridian, PeopleSoft or ADP payroll systems is a plus

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal skills

  • Communication proficiency (oral and written)

Join us and help the world manage risk in real time. Who You Are: You are a hands-on payroll coordinator who is organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and has a positive attitude! You have excellent knowledge of the intricacies around executing and managing payroll and have experience processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now. You understand wage withholding orders, garnishments, commission, and bonus payments and can process the related payroll accordingly. You are able to organize your workload, work independently, adapt quickly to change, and consistently meet time sensitive deadlines. Responsibilities: * Timely preparation and accurate execution of the semi-monthly US payroll using ADP Workforce Now and monthly payroll for 3 international locations with the relevant payroll providers * Coordinate with the People Team to accurately maintain and record compensation changes, one-time payments, benefits deductions, and personnel information, including department changes & transfers * Manage employee data in payroll systems including adding new hires, terminations, and department changes * Understand proper taxation of stock options * Record moving expenses, gift card payments, and other employee benefits for accurate tax reporting * Maintain payroll support files & prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages * Assist with any financial or statutory audits or requests that require the gathering of compensation and payroll data * Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies * Maintain employee access to payroll platforms including assistance with password reset requests and registration assistance. * Respond to all questions and concerns pertaining to payroll * Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions * Maintain payroll guidelines by documenting policies and procedures * Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies * Assist with the implementation of any software or systems that might be integrated with ADP Workforce Now, including potential HRIS interface * Assist with any other projects that relate to compensation and payroll, as needed Desired Skills and Experience: * Basic Excel skills * 5-7 years' payroll processing experience * Hands-on experience processing payroll for employee populations of 400 to 1000 * Experience managing multi-state payrolls for exempt and non-exempt employees, including practical experience using ADP Workforce Now * Strong understanding of ISO/NSO stock option compensation and related payroll tax implications * Demonstrated problem-solving skills and aptitude toward process improvements * Some International payroll experience strongly preferred * Some exposure to benefit plans strongly preferred (e.g. 401K, Pension plans, etc.) Our Offering Of Competitive Benefits And Perks Include: * Company paid benefits for employees and their dependents, such as medical, dental, vision, disability and life * Flexible spending account to be used for out-of-pocket medical, transit, parking and dependent care expenses * 401(k) savings plan with company matching * Generous leave * Daily catered lunch * A kitchen fully stocked with snacks and beverages * Discounted Gym Membership Dataminr is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
