AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team onsite at our headquarters in Downtown Portland, OR.

Are you a Payroll Specialist ready to jump into some exciting projects with a team of dedicated professionals?

If you're experienced with ADP reporting, Workforce Now, and ADP Time & Attendance (Enhanced or Essential Time), we would love to hear from you! It's a huge plus if you've also helped support the payroll portion of Paid Leave Oregon for a fully-funded plan.

Summary

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing accurate and timeline payroll related duties for payrolls within Oregon and Idaho. Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, this position processes payroll for existing and new team members, audits and corrects for timecard and records accuracy, follows the payroll schedule, accurately completes tasks related to accruals, journal entries, deductions, and reconciliations.

Desired Skills

  • 5+ years payroll processing experience.

  • High level of proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Enhanced or Essential Time, and ADP reporting required.

  • Highly detailed with a strong understanding of basic wage and hour laws, payroll taxation regulations, and paid leave laws specifically in the states of Oregon and Idaho.

  • Intermediate MS Office experience required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus.

  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse stakeholder group in an inclusive and equitable manner.

  • Ability to maintain a superior level of confidentiality, controls, and data security.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required (pay differential provided).
