Purpose:

Responsible for providing technical payroll and benefits support to various payroll teams within Conduent as well as the client.

Primary Responsibilities:

May perform one or more of the following:

Responds promptly to inquiries from various Conduent and client teams for technical assistance.
Plans, designs, develops and tests SQL queries and ADPR reports.
Assists with benefits support.
Troubleshoots issues with Microsoft Access databases and SQR programs used to support payroll.
Investigates and troubleshoots technical payroll problems reported by other teams.
Interfaces with clients and vendors to facilitate client's production payroll processing.
Participates in formal testing and running of payroll systems.
Uses industry standard quality concepts to implement continuous process improvements.
All other duties as assigned.

At least 2 years of previous payroll experience required.

Techical experience required.

Must have previously worked with Access and SQL.

Ideal candidate has previous benefits experience, Oracle, and ADPR experience.

Acess programming experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY Backup Administrators are engineers that specialize in implementing and administrating data protection policies in a company. Responsibilities include: * The design, implementation and management of the backup hardware and software solution * Manages or consults on complex projects as the top level contributor/specialist * Works closely with other technical resources such as Database Administrators, Systems Engineers and Administrators and applications technical support personnel * May be responsible for monitoring selected project schedules The Backup Engineer demonstrates expertise in a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures relating to the field of Information Technology. Ensure that all refund checks are deposited in a timely manner. * Participate in the collection of payroll tax receivables to ensure that tax refunds are aggressively pursued and received in a timely manner. * Participate in the daily depositing of federal tax liabilities for equity based compensation. Ensure accounting transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger and settled in a timely manner * Lead and/or participate in projects within the Payroll Accounting Tower relating to payroll tax accounting matters. * Work closely with Conduent Payroll Tax Operations to monitor form W-2C and related Adjustmate transactions.
