JOB DESCRIPTION The Payroll Manager will report to the Corporate Controller , supervise the Payroll Assistant / Payroll Analyst and work closely with other accounting staff. They are responsible for day-to-day Payroll activities, including processing weekly hourly and biweekly salary payrolls for approximately 400 employees.
The Payroll Manager will also provid e assistance in sp ecial projects and duties assigned by the Controller, the Chief Financial Officer and other WSFSSH’s officers. Responsibilities Include: Coordinate and process weekly , hourly and biweekly salary payrolls.
Check and audit weekly employee time cards for accuracy and completeness . Perform tasks to establish , reconcile and maintain employee payroll records. Work closely with HR Coordinator in processing of new hires, transfe rs, promotions , leave of absences and terminations . Critically review and analyze payroll and tax procedures . Provide support in researching and resolving ADP payroll-related problems or unexpected results; perform scheduled activities, recommend solutions, or alternate methods to meet requirements . Prepare relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, W-2, etc.) First point of contact for all employee inquiries related to payroll data . Train new ADP Time & Attendance users on procedures and functionality Perform reconciliation s – 941 reconciliation and benefit accounts reconciliations Reconcile payroll data between ADP Workforce Now and Time and Attendance Assist with annual year-end audits and government audits Perform spec ial projects as assigned by WSFSSH’s Senior Management Qualifications: BA/BS degree ; major of Finance , Accounting or Human Resources a plus 5 years of work experience in payroll administration 2 years of supervisory experience Proficient in payroll software; ADP Workforce Now Payroll System experience preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations. Strong attention to detail as well as solid organization/time management skills Strong interpersonal , verbal and written communication skills High degree of professionalism Demonstrated d ecision making, problem-solving and analytical skills Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills P roficient in Microsoft Office applications & Adobe Acrobat Professional Monday - Friday 9a-5p 35 Compensation details: 90000-100000 Yearly Salary PI493b6f238236-31181-34720181
