Job Description

To manage the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of salaries in accordance with government legislation and organizational timetables. In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Manage and process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across multiple company codes for hourly and salaried employees using Payroll Software (ADP).

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.

• Administer time tracking and payroll system, maintaining accurate records.

• Assist employees with payroll inquiries, issues, and employment verifications.

• Research and resolve various personnel, payroll, and benefits issues with discretion.

• Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports to management and accounting.

• Assist with employee 401k setup and administration.

• Administer benefits software (ADP), ensuring data integrity for enrollments and changes.

• Perform administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, and audits (e.g., annual I-9 audit).

Qualifications

• 3 years payroll experience minimum, 5+ years preferred.

• CPP preferred.

• High level of Microsoft Excel Proficiency

• ADP experience preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of payroll-related legislation and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, management, and external bodies.

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Salary Range: $71,000 - $90,000 + Bonus Eligible
