Payroll Coordinator

Staffmark is hiring an experienced Payroll Coordinator in Jurupa Valley, CA, for a food manufacturing company specializing in traditionally inspired, wholesome Mexican and Hispanic cuisine. Pay: $22 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday

Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Support full cycle payroll for employees in specific/assigned geography(s)/ location(s) - reconcile data; identify and correct errors; upload to Workday payroll system.

• Enter data and hours for locations (MLC/MOK) that are unable to transmit information; process short hours, missed benefit days, vacation, and mismatch bonus requests.

• Troubleshoot, research, and resolve standard payroll issues - troubleshoot questions/issues that relate to un-submitted new hire information; vacation requests; stop payment requests; and verification of employment.

• Provide backup to other Coordinators.

• Assist in the maintenance of data integrity in systems by running regular queries analyzing data and reviewing source documents for accuracy and completion of data input.

• Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities and assist with audit requests.

Requirements:

• High School/ G.E.D

• 1+ years of related payroll/admin experience (Food Industry is a plus)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• Strong computer (Microsoft Office), multi-tasking, communication, and customer service skills

• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds
