Responsibilities

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of payroll processing tasks, preparation of funding, reconciliations and related reports and responding to inquiries related to payroll processes and procedures.

  • Process data entries for direct deposits, tax forms, retro payments, and garnishments. Audit information received to ensure accuracy.

  • Work with Communities to explain the breakdown of payroll checks to include earnings, taxes, deductions, as well as overtime and regular rate of pay calculations.

  • Maintain knowledge of Company Payroll/Human Resources policies and procedures, administration guidelines and related regulations for federal, state and local governments.

  • Work with Communities on policies and procedures, research and respond to inquires from community and Support Center employees, as well as third party vendors.

  • Monitor compliance of field personnel with required deadlines, Company policies, and payroll approvals.

  • Make adjustments as needed for Short Term Disability, Wages, and W2c processing.

  • Input and reconcile weekly/biweekly payroll activity by community.

  • Produce manual payments as needed.

  • Perform administrative functions including maintaining payroll files, opening and distributing mail and operating office equipment.

  • Respond to Employment Verification requests.

  • Process standard queries for Payroll processing.

  • Option to assist in administering Canadian payroll.

  • Work with the Human Resources department to resolve outstanding issues as needed.

  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); three (3) years of related, progressive work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Familiarity with payroll and timekeeping software system.

  • Experience with Canadian payroll a plus.

  • Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.

  • Strong math skills to calculate payments and deductions.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.

VIEW JOBS 9/24/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-23T00:00 <p>Responsibilities</p><p>The Treasury Coordinator is responsible for processing all daily deposits, procurement card change requests, and additional administrative tasks as needed with minimal supervision.</p><ul><li><p>Process daily cash deposits to multiple bank accounts.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the primary administrative contact for the procurement card program, including closing, modifying, and requesting new cards.</p></li><li><p>Assist with bank account opening/closing documentation processes.</p></li><li><p>Monitor department daily status of payments to be processed.</p></li><li><p>Prepare recurring journal entries and load journals in Peoplesoft.</p></li><li><p>Prepare monthly Debt and Lease payments.</p></li><li><p>Prepare quarterly replacement reserve requests.</p></li><li><p>Update monthly bank fee analysis.</p></li><li><p>Initiate wires and ACH payments via online banking systems as needed.</p></li><li><p>Assist in providing audit request documentation for external auditors.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li><p>One (1) to three (3) years of general office experience required.</p></li><li><p>Associate Degree (A.A.) preferred.</p></li><li><p>Able to quickly learn new software programs and go beyond basic understanding and usage.
