Cordia Resources is seeking a meticulous and efficient Payroll Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting payroll processing, managing garnishments, handling employee changes, and addressing employee payroll-related inquiries. Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Costpoint is highly preferred.Role is primarily remote. Need to come in occasionally for meetings.Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring all data is entered and calculated correctly.
Garnishments: Manage and process garnishment orders, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Employee Changes: Update and maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other adjustments.
Employee Inquiries: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll questions, providing prompt and accurate information and assistance.
Reporting: Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure cohesive payroll and employee data management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in payroll processing is required. Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Costpoint is highly preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in handling payroll data.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively address employee inquiries.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve payroll issues efficiently.
