Job Summary: Primary responsibilities include data entry of certified payroll along with a broad range of administrative support to the payroll department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect, calculating and entering certified payroll data into various website forms
Comply with all requirements associated with Certified payroll
Prepare and process fringe benefit payments
Troubleshoot and fix issues with rejected certified payroll reporting
Scanning and attaching documents to the specified locations within the payroll system or network drives.
Assist with new hire employee onboarding verification
Maintain and organize all payroll related documents in a safe and confidential manner
Ensure accurate record of electronic and manual employee files, including records of benefits plans participation and any other payroll related data
New Hire Reporting
Email weekly payroll reports to designated groups
Scan and Mail out monthly union reports
Backup payroll processing
Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:
Prefer strong verbal/written communication, effective organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to set-up, automate and track data and information
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees and coworkers to promote a quality service image
Complete tasks quickly and efficiently with the highest level of quality and attention to detail
Ability to keep information confidential
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, flexibly and responsively while working with competing priorities and deadlines
