Your role as a Payroll Clerk you will both utilize and expand your talents. In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with our diverse team and directly contribute to our path to becoming the most sought after, respected, and successful engineering firm in the country.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administers and ensures accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all payroll activities.

• Performs quality checks on payroll to ensure accuracy, according to protocols

• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and all Federal, State, and local payroll and tax laws for all locations.

• Processes new hires, terminations, garnishments, status changes, time sheet data, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special payments and PTO accruals.

Required Qualifications:

• Education/Training - High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Multi-State Payroll experience, California a plus.

• 2+ years processing payroll and payroll accounting functions of at least 500 employees.

• Manges self, information, and interaction with others with utmost confidentiality, with a high level of accuracy.

• This position requires a high level of attention to detail, data integrity, accuracy, and a broad understanding of payroll practices and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or similar business.

• Previous experience working in and implementing Paycom for Payroll processing.

• Specialized Knowledge/Skills - the successful candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll processing and compliance in multiple states.

• Paycom experience is highly desirable.
