We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to manage and perform payroll and billing duties at our Athens/Huntsville branch location in Alabama. The Payroll Clerk will also provide administrative and employment support to their branch. Due to the nature of our work and the care services that we provide in the community, the Payroll Clerk may occasionally visit and assist our clients in their homes, as needed. Work hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner

  • Process billing

  • Perform Electronic Visit Verifications

  • Assist with recruiting new staff for branch

  • Assist with onboarding new hires for branch

  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing

  • Visit and assist clients in their homes when/if there are no field staff available

  • Provide administrative assistance to the State Director

Minimum Qualifications

  • Payroll experience required

  • Proficient intermediate computer skills

  • Ability and willingness to visit and assist clients in their homes when field staff cannot be found to work available hours

  • Valid driver's license

  • Access to an insured and reliable vehicle

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
