Based in Fremont, California, the Payroll Administrator position is a short term temporary-to-fulltime opportunity. Responsibilities

  • Follow established policies and procedures to maintain payroll operations and report changes as necessary

  • Calculate employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to determine payroll liabilities

  • Offer assistance with internal and external audits related to payroll

  • Manage other tasks as assigned

  • Manage payroll information requests and questions

  • Protect confidential payroll operation information and maintain employee confidence

  • Offer proper review and verification of source documents

  • Handle payroll record updates by keeping changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers

  • Manage issues related to employee deductions and other liabilities, including reconciling

  • Manage payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information

  • Proper payroll information maintenance by collecting, calculating, and entering data

  • Draft relevant year-end reports, as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly ones, for department heads

  • Produce reports after compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages

  • Dependability in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular

  • Knowledge of internal controls

  • Prior experience using accounting software

  • Meet and uphold Certified Payroll Professional criteria

  • Experienced in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen

  • Mastery of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements

  • 2+ years of strong payroll experience

  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

  • Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

  • Payroll systems for 100-500 employees experience desired

  • Knowledge of manual payroll

  • Deep understanding of numeric data entry

  • Capable of managing high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.

Description: Summary: The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the analysis and collection of assigned accounts receivable portfolios for Aramark Refreshment Services (ARS) customers, as well as ensuring that assigned customer accounts are reconciled and accurate to facilitate timely collections inside established payment terms in a profit center environment. Key Responsibilities: * TJV (Intercompany transfer of receivables) * Research/review of cash on account * EFT and Credit Card Processing * Refund processing and write-off processing * Processing monthly statements – includes mailing * Process incoming mail * Batch checks – run tapes * Credit memos processing * Cash application/research * Daily deposit * Accounts Receivable Collection Calls * Manage the case queue in Sales Force (create new cases, close cases) * Customer dispute follow up processing * Billing – special client billing, compile, prepare, send * Billing – generating and making MEI invoices, PDF invoices * MDM/National Accounts/Database maintenance/pricing/chargebacks * Accumulation of national Account Bills/Special Billing Summaries * Filter Invoice Generation (send to customer) * Additional responsibilities as requested Qualifications: * High School diploma required.
