This position will require a variety of tasks to support the Payroll department such as data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This fast-paced and quickly expanding position will require the candidate to communicate effectively with both internal team members and outside customers. How you will make an impact ?Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc ?Correspond with employees via email and phone to garner approvals on timesheets ?Configure custom reports ?Administer and distribute reports as instructed ?Fill in data into spreadsheets and the payroll system ?Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system ?Supply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc. - Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills ?Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement ?Strong familiarity with multi-state payroll ?Payroll for over 500 employees experience ?Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft preferred ?Solid understanding of account analysis ?Garnishments payroll experience ?5+ years of previous payroll experience ?Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities ?Eagerness to master new systems ?Proficient in Payroll software
