We are looking to hire a Payroll Associate in the Secaucus, NJ area- Hybrid. The Payroll Associate will manage payroll and related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coding/entering timesheets for bi-weekly payroll
  • Prevailing wage calculations
  • Certified payroll forms
  • Entering payroll into payroll system (Rippling)
  • Recording payroll entries into accounting systems (Sedona/QuickBooks)
  • Other projects as needed

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Sedona a plus
  • Ability to learn Sedona Database required

Would you like to be part of our team?</p><p>Job Description</p><p>As a Payroll Reporting and Systems Manager, you are responsible for the management of data integrity, security access, payroll system's set up, data collection for various reports, and time and attendance and payroll training.</p><p>This hybrid position is based in Secaucus, NJ Office within our Payroll Department/Finance and reports to our US Payroll Manager and has the following direct reports: Time &amp; Attendance/Training Specialist, Payroll Audit and Reconciliation Coordinator and Payroll Reports Specialist</p><p>Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to*:</p><ul><li><p>Monitor/audit data in payroll integration files, ensuring data accuracy that are imported from People Data and Time &amp; Attendance system.</p></li><li><p>Analyze payroll functional requirements, define standards and procedures for validating data integrity and operational viability of existing business processes.</p></li><li><p>Manage and monitor user access of payroll system based on position, including creating, updating, and deleting users.</p></li><li><p>Create and maintain custom reports for various periodical audits, mandatory reports, etc.</p></li><li><p>Partner with other stake holders, such as HR, Accounting, Tax and Technology teams to ensure all payroll associated procedures and documentation are maintained according to evolving business requirements and explore opportunities to enhance the delivery of Payroll related services.</p></li><li><p>Lead activities related to the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades and implementations, including drive end-user testing.</p></li><li><p>Work with technical teams to investigate and determine root cause analysis on application issues and develop action plans to correct deficiencies. Recommend and implement appropriate workarounds to complete functional/technical service requests.</p></li></ul><p>Additional Accountabilities:</p><ul><li><p>Manage vendor relationships, including contract's review and delivery</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and coach and lead team</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><p>What You'll Need to Succeed:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, HRIS, Business Administration, IT/IS, MIS, or related field preferred.</p></li><li><p>4-6 year of managing HRIS/Payroll system with large retail organization</p></li><li><p>Experience managing ADP Vantage's set up required</p></li><li><p>Experience with Infor WFM and/or Reflexis highly preferred</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in excel and power point</p></li><li><p>Ability to deal with fast-paced environment and to multitask</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality</p></li></ul><p>Job Status: Salary, Exempt</p><p>EEOC Code: OFM</p><p>Additional Information</p><p>Compensation:</p><p>Hiring Range is $110,599 - $124,424 Salary</p><p>Benefits:</p><p>H&amp;M believes in rewarding our employees for their many contributions to our shared success.
