The Payroll Associate role will have a tremendous impact on our business through delivering exceptional service to leadership and employees ensuring the timely and accurate processing of company payroll, some basic benefits administration and HRIS support.

As a member of the Global Shared Services (GSS) team, you will work to support the business units, geographic locations and Exiger leadership. Units within GSS include: Talent and Culture, Finance, Growth & Marketing, Legal, IT Security/Support and our Administrative team.

This is a full-time opportunity located in New York with flexible or partial ability to remotely.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with the Payroll and Finance Teams, and fellow Talent & Culture colleagues to support processing bi-weekly payroll for US employees and ensures all accompanying tasks are accurately completed in a timely manner.

  • Exhibit strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and the ability to manage with detail orientation and adherence to compliance requirements.

  • Prepare the processing of payroll by verifying time records/data; calculating and producing checks or electronic transfers; supports in calculating and paying commissions, and various other incentive bonuses.

  • Support determination of payroll liabilities by confirming federal and state income and social security tax information, 401(k) transfers, direct deposits, wage assignments and garnishments, adjusting payroll records, documenting and transmitting withholdings, etc.

  • Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests from internal and external sources.

  • Provide employment verifications.

  • Aid in the preparation of year-end reporting information.

  • Partner with internal team on various Payroll and HR items.

  • Perform a variety of daily administrative HRIS tasks ensuring data integrity and the processing and reporting of Human Resources data.

  • Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to ad hoc data requests.

  • Confirm the accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintains data in system and assures information is available on a timely basis.

  • Conduct data analysis on HR data such as compensation, classification, employment or benefits as directed.

What You'll Need:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail necessary. Strong general math skills necessary.

  • Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated with the ability to work independently and/or collaboratively. Ability to learn new things quickly and easily to adapt to a change in a high growth environment. Strong follow up skills to close out associate and management requests in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality with sensitive personal and financial information and exercise exceptional discretion and independent judgment.

  • Strong organizational, project, and time management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented approach and ability to establish rapport and trust quickly.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to effectively work with senior management, hiring managers, applicants and candidates.

  • Experience with cloud-based payroll system necessary. Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.

What's Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED, additional education highly preferred. CPP designation preferred.

  • 2 plus years of payroll and HRIS preferred. Multi-state payroll experience preferred.

  • Solid experience with using HRIS systems, ADP, and MS Office Suite products.

In compliance with New York State and New York City pay transparency requirements, the anticipated salary for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000 annually.
