TITLE: Payroll Assistant
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: The Payroll / HR Assistant position is responsible for maintaining employee files and assist with processing biweekly payroll. A successful candidate in this position exemplifies integrity and the other key characteristics we expect of all our employees: commitment, respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience (2 years' related experience)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required .
Experience with ADP Workforce preferred Able to maintain the highest degree on confidentiality and professional discretion.
Organized, able to handle multiple tasks at one time, with attention to detail.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process and track employee vacation, sick, and floating holiday leave hours.
Assist with monitoring and reporting temporary employee hours weekly.
Assist with maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, entering data, and importing files into ADP payroll.
Assist with updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee profile or benefits.
Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll, including time management system.
Assists the Human Resources team with other projects as assigned.
