Pay
Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $57900 - $78100 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities
Providing finance and accounting support to the payroll team and resolve payroll accounting issues and questions for internal customers and stakeholders
Build quality processes, minimize errors and also rectify errors on behalf of units, colleagues and stakeholders
Staying on top of payroll laws and is helping to audit payroll records, assisting with the weekly/monthly/ annual payroll accounting processing for a high volume of team members
Perform transactional payroll general ledger and accounting functions to ensure company payroll expenses and liabilities are recorded correctly
Process transactions and audits including balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entry postings, payroll system GL mapping, costing allocations, process funding to third party vendors
Field questions from the business regarding payroll entries, analyze results and then report back to the business providing superior customer service
Collaborate with Human Resources, and other business partners, to effectively carryout business objectives
Recommend process improvements and control procedures including continuous documentation of processes and controls
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
FPC or CPP or the desire to obtain preferred
2-3 years of experience in the accounting and/or Payroll field required; Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance may be considered in lieu of experience
Proficient in Excel and Word
Ability to negotiate positive resolutions with customers and payroll team
Proficient working with multiple systems and tools to perform job functions
Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment
