Are you up for it?Our People Support team is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our rapidly growing organization. You will be responsible reviewing payroll time for our organization. The Payroll Administrator will report to and work directly with the Payroll Team Lead to support accurate, timely pay and to help our SDC team members in all time and ultimately payroll related areas. The Payroll Administrator will be expected to take ownership of all aspects of UTM Time processing, help with payroll auditing, other related duties or special projects as assigned and truly understand and respect the confidentiality of payroll.
Must be knowledgeable about standard time keeping principles. They will be responsible for verification and follow up of time related records including regular, overtime, double time, PTO, Floating Holidays and Holiday codes etc. as needed.
Responsible for review of PTO accruals and adjustments as needed.
Follow up with Team Leaders as needed to ensure all time cards are properly approved and that all missed punches are resolved.
Respond to Team member questions about time.
Complete all VOE's
Will help to balance timesheet records and manual payroll transactions to payroll system reports, research and resolve issues prior to processing payroll.
Create and maintain payroll metrics for payroll to accurately report outliers and those that exceed to executives, in order to identify training opportunities for team members and leaders.
Train new hires and current team members on payroll timelines, benefits of pay cards, etc.
Work with respective Team Members, internal departments, outside agencies, etc., to resolve any payroll related issues.
Review payroll processes and suggest ways to streamline and improve processes.
Work on special payroll projects, payroll audits, etc., that may need to be performed on an ongoing basis.
Must be able to learn the following areas of payroll: payroll processing, payroll adjustments, multi-state taxes and reciprocity, garnishments, employee payroll maintenance, gross to net calculations, non-taxable benefits, taxable fringe benefits, year-end balancing, processing W-2's and W-2c's and other payroll related tasks.

Working knowledge of UltiPro UTM system or similar payroll systems in a multi-state environment (Ulti Pro experience is a plus)
General knowledge of payroll best practices
Desire to learn US and Canada payroll processing
PC skills including proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc)
Minimumof 1-3 years of experience processing payroll time
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet payroll deadlines, provide exceptional customer service
Must be a strong, flexible, highly motivated team member with extreme attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a high-volume, fast paced, energetic work environment
